Steffen will explain his reasons and demonstrate the techniques he uses when making objects for his modern cabinets of curiosities. Some techniques are well known and others are happy accidents transformed over years of practice into useful ways of making layers of colour.

Participants will be working with hot and cold techniques to explore this approach to glass.

Please bring ideas sketches and thoughts.
