About Deborette:

She is a maker, designer and teacher who makes small leather goods in the Jewellery Quarter as well as running leather workshops. B18 Leather was born from Deborette's desire to experiment with leather and a pre-owned industrial sewing machine. She began experimenting with colour and pattern and this is now her point of difference with the small leather goods that she produces.

In this writing workshop, you'll read some classic and modern romantic verse and talk about what makes a good poem specific to its subject, or to the experience of love itself. You will have the chance to write your own love poem about anything special to you and can choose either to share your work at the end, or keep it as a private memento. £18 per person (Inc. VAT), plus free hot drinks. You are welcome to bring your own drinks, including alcohol. Over 18s. Advance booking essential. (Scroll down to book a ticket).
