Exceptional activities in exceptional spaces can transform lives.
We create exceptional places in which exceptional activities can take place.
Britain has a wealth of old industrial buildings that need a new purpose in this post industrial age. At the Ruskin Mill Land Trust we rescue and transform them so they can again become a vibrant part of their community. By partnering with Ruskin Mill Trust we help create lively centres for special needs education, arts and culture, festivals, social enterprise and community.
Find out ways you can support our New Standard Works project in the Jewellery Quarter. We are currently running a heritage activity programme funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund; there are plenty of opportunities to be part of the transformation of this building, share its rich heritage stories, and to help us build connections with people and places.
You can support our events programme, volunteer your time, or hire our spaces to help us generate a sustainable stream of income for The Hive; enabling us to continue our community-focused activities.
We have got some truly lovely spaces which might be perfect for your event. Hiring our spaces will help us generate income to make sure we are a sustainable social enterprise. You can hire our cafe outside the usual weekday opening hours; light & airy by day, creative-industrial cool by night, our Makers Studio for creative workshops or meetings, our Heritage Lounge for a quirky backdrop to your drinks reception, or even hold an event in our Rooftop garden-microfarm!
