Clervaux Artisan bakery and café is run as a social enterprise so all the profits are put back into the charity to continue our work with the local community and supporting young people.

The bakery and café provides accredited training and work experience for groups of young people, with improved opportunities to gain employment and contribute to the local community. These students receive a much needed boost to their self confidence and self esteem, which in turn impacts positively on their behaviour towards others.

Our small team of bakers are committed to producing high quality bread prepared and baked on site. They use locally sourced organic and biodynamic ingredients, often direct from the Clervaux farm and garden in Croft on Tees.  A variety of freshly baked breads, cakes and scones are available from the café or shop at the front of the building.

We are very grateful to the Department for Education and Big Lottery Local Food programme for their support in establishing the training cafe and bakery.

Open 8.00am - 3pm.
