Travelling to the Stourbridge Glass Quarter

By Car

Stourbridge is easily accessible by motorway when travelling from all parts of the UK, then follow brown tourist signs to the Glass Quarter. Postcodes are listed alongside all sites on the Venues page and most Festival venues are located along the A491.

Car parking

Car parking is limited at Festival sites. Wordsley School have kindly agreed to host a Park and Ride so you can use the Festival Shuttle Buses, local buses or walk between venues.

By Train

By train the closest station is Stourbridge Town, directly linked by shuttle train from Stourbridge Junction (the shortest branch line in Europe!) The train station is right next to the bus station. You can either catch the Festival Shuttle Bus, which operates every 20 minutes, or catch one of the frequent National Express buses.  

Bus Services

The Number 9 bus from Birmingham also travels directly from outside Birmingham Snow Hill station on Colmore Row to Stourbridge bus station (via Halesowen). The Number 256 bus from Wolverhampton travels directly from Stand L at Wolverhampton bus station to Stourbridge bus station.

The free Festival shuttle bus services will operate from Stourbridge town centre.

In addition to the Festival Shuttle Bus, National Express West Midlands services 256 and 257 run frequently from Stourbridge bus station past all festival sites. Cheap day and discounted bus/train passes can be purchased. Visit www.nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands for more information.

Walking

The main Festival sites are within walking distance of each other, with an approximate maximum walk of 20 minutes from one site to the next. Stroll along the canal for a peaceful alternative to the main road.
