title organic cafe and bakery

We are an organic café & bakery that makes 100% of our food fresh. Nothing bought in. We make every dish by hand. We get some supplied produce from our very own rooftop garden & micro-farm. It's wonderful being able to pick your own vegetables and herbs and look at the Jewellery Quarter skyline as you do so!

We change our menu every day. The food we serve is healthy, affordable, organic and 100% vegetarian. Vegan options are also available. There is no set cuisine. It is inspired by the produce in season.

What better way to show you what kind of food we serve then to show you!

A social enterprise

We are a social enterprise that provides valuable work experience and training opportunities for our students at Argent College.

Images of The Hive cafe from different angles

The café has a rustic industrial feel, with art and writing on the walls. Its large windows let in plenty of natural light to create a really open and airy feel. It's also very calm; we purposely have no music so that our customers can hear their own conversations.

There is free WiFi for our customers.

We are proud to offer an inclusive and friendly environment to all our customers. Everyone is welcome to enjoy eating and drinking in our beautiful industrial building.

Opening times

  • Monday – Friday 7.30am – 3.30pm
  • Serving breakfasts (from 8am), coffee & cakes. Lunch service from 12-7pm.
  • CLOSED on Saturdays and Sundays
